Strathendrick RFC are delighted to share the fantastic news that Balfron/Strathendrick RFC girls Eve MacKay and Lucy Ronald have been selected to play in the first 2026 girls U18's 6 Nations match against Italy at midday 2nd April 2026.

Eve as No6 open side flanker, has been given the great honour of being captain for the day. Lucy starts on the bench, but will doubtless get her opportunity to show her skills later in the game.

Eve and Lucy started the rugby career at Strathendrick, both being selected for the Scotland U16's team whilst at Strathendrick. For the past year they have been playing at Stirling County and Biggar to help advance their competitive play.

The whole club wish them both the very best luck and greatest success in the 2026 U18's 6 Nations tournament.
