The Annual Confirmation asks all adults (18+) who have registered on SCRUMS to login to their existing SCRUMS account to confirm their registration information and provide confirmation that they have read, and will comply with, various regulations and policies that govern the game in Scotland.

Who should complete the Annual Confirmation?
• Adult Players (18+)
• Adult Coaches / Match Official and Volunteers (18+)

Who does NOT need to complete the Annual Confirmation?
• Youth Players (U18)
• Club Coaches / Match Official and Volunteers (U18)

Please Note To avoid duplication of accounts, if a Youth Player has an existing account on SCRUMS they DO NOT need to re-register for the new season. If Youth Players (U18) are registered with your club or school on SCRUMS they are already active for the new season. No further action is required.

An email will be sent to the registered parental email address of all Youth Players in July to confirm their active club / school registrations for the new season.

Important Information regarding Adult Players (18+):
All Adult Players (18+) should complete the Annual Confirmation before their first scheduled match of the season.
If Adult Players (18+) do not complete the Annual Confirmation, they will be unavailable for teamsheet selection in SCRUMS and therefore, unable to play in Scottish Rugby competitions during season 2025/26.

Important Information for Clubs:
To monitor this situation in SCRUMS, there is a red exclamation mark (!) next to any player that has not yet completed the Annual Confirmation. There is also a filter at the top of the player screen called ‘Confirmed Registration’ which allows clubs to filter on all those players who have not yet completed the task. That list of players can then be downloaded into a spreadsheet if required.

Complete Annual Confirmation
The Annual Confirmation will be available for completion from 3rd July onwards. At that time, emails requesting the completion of the Annual Confirmation will be sent to all Adult Players, Coaches, Match Officials and Volunteers (18+). Please encourage these individuals at your club or school to log in and complete it for season 2025/26.
