We welcome Aron and Axel Qvarnstrom from Swedish rugby club Spartacus. The brothers will be joining Strathendrick Rugby Club for this season. Twins Axel and Aron both have Swedish U18 caps and have enjoying a barnstorming season back home representing their country and with their own club Spartacus.

The twin brothers have a grandmother from Newcastle and a great grandmother from Scotland, so in a way this is a homecoming experience. The boys have rugby connections in the UK, since the cousins of their father, Brian and Henry Patrick played for Gosforth RFC in Newcastle in the 80's. Brian Patrick, a fullback, also has a few International caps playing or England.

The initial connection between the clubs was made through Ashley Boulton (a former Endrick player from circa 2003) who now plays for their home club Spartacus.

These two hard tackling young men have already gained a reputation in Swedish rugby and we are sure they will leave a mark on the Scottish game. We wish the boys the very best of luck and hope they enjoy their time in the Strathendrick family!
