Really well done to the boys today.

Out of the blocks with a very dominant and convincing win over Helensburgh. Exceptional team performance from all, some of the best rugby we’ve played all season and a special mention to Ruiars who I think scored and kicked 16 points in that match.

Dalziel was tough but very close, a couple of small mistakes led to a close win for them 19-12 but again, we kept our heads, played some good rugby and strong effort all round.

A few more mistakes in the last match against Bishopton saw us lose 7-12 to a team that were beaten by Helensburgh so it could all have been different. Either way, a good morning of very competitive rugby.

We’re getting close to the end of the season and it’s important for all of the boys whether veterans of Strathendrick or not to think about their game over the off season, work on the areas they feel need improving, keep fit, come to as many S&C sessions as you can or work on building strength and fitness in your own time. We want as big a squad as possible (in terms of numbers and muscles..) returning for the new season, fit, strong and absolutely pumped to take it to all opponents. We have a good squad getting closer together and improving each match. Onwards!!!
