The U12 team took a little while to get going this morning, but when they did they were unstoppable! Their festival began with a physical, and challenging game against a quick paced Dundee side. The girls worked hard, shipping the ball wide for some brilliant tries. The focus is on development and that’s exactly what the girls showed as they moved to their next game against Falkirk. Introducing mandatory passing prior to try scoring really pushed the girls to pull together as a team. They scored some brilliant team tries, with solid support play and some perfectly timed offloading of the ball to keep the pace quick. Further development on display as they moved into the final game against county. A change of tactics with their kick start and much tighter work around the breakdown led to some more team tries and some excellent defence work. All in all a very successful and enjoyable day for the U12 girls. Their festival season will continue after the October holidays and the girls will be ready and raring to go!
