Child Wellbeing and Protection Section 4 of 6

4. Anti-Bullying Guidance

Strathendrick RFC is committed to protect all children and young people in its care. We understand that wellbeing can be seriously impacted by bullying behaviour. Bullying is a behaviour that can make a child feel frightened, threatened, left out and hurt. Something only has to happen once to make a child feel worried or scared. Bullying is both action and impact; what someone does and the impact it has on a person’s capacity to feel in control of themselves. For the purposes of this guidance a child is recognised as someone under the age of 18 years and applies to all children regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, socio-economic status or family circumstance.
